Rising is materialised through 4 glass chandeliers that we have conceptualised in collaboration with a Murano glassblower in Italy and a distinctive LED system creation company based in Barcelona. These lamps have the ability to create light effects

Rising 2022

Rising is an outdoor immersive sound and light installation that aims to sensitise the public on the issue of climate change and more explicitly on the rise of the oceans. Rising speaks of our vulnerability through a poetic experience. The aim is to raise awareness and break the taboo of the future that lies ahead, pushing fear aside and using beauty to become more resilient.

Rising is materialised through 4 glass chandeliers that we have conceptualised in collaboration with a Murano glassblower in Italy and a distinctive LED system creation company based in Barcelona. These lamps have the ability to create light effects similar to those produced when sunlight crosses the sea. It is a night and outdoor work, transforming the public space into an immersive lighting and sound experience. With these lamps we bring the shadow of the ocean to the land.
